Today I was supposed to publish my website on the internet. I found it really easy whilst publishing the website. I had some weaknesses though:

• I could not remember the URL for my website.
• I did not understand when weebly said connect to a domain you already own, so I put wikipidia then i read it properly I then did not put any.

After all those challenges, i was finally able to produce my website with the URL:

Today i was able to finish creating the homepage. I am very enthusiastic, and proud of the work i have done so far as my goal at the end of today, was to have made an excellent, attractive and catchy home page as I did. To test the quality of my homepage, i told my uncle who has fallen in the trap of not knowing the indian culture to view and read my homepage. first of all he got really engrossed in the website and just by the introductory part of the website, he was really touched as it was clearly seen in his face. This showed that my homepage was excellent. I felt very grateful and satisfied, as i was not that sure about how effective my homepage will be. i learnt, many things such as how to keep an image in the website which i found hard to understand in the starting, but i was able to do it with the help of my mum. I also learn't and developed different skills which include my creativity skills, organization skills and communication skills. This task was mean't to be done on the 10th of October, but because i was busy with my swimming gala and i was out almost the whole day, i could not do it. However, in my plan i had mentioned that i have not kept any task over this weekend as i know i am mostly busy over weekends. Although, this weekend i will stay home. So i will try finish the other task over this weekend,  that i was suppose to do yesterday but i couldn't as i working on my homepage yesterday and today. Next time, i would like to improve on my interpersonal skills and work independently, as today i was bothering my brother a lot on how to do this and that however this will not happen again, as i now know how to do everything on weebly through today's experience.

Today I was supposed to beautify my website and add appropriate colour, but the website had already been filled with colour. So i decided to check and edit my work. I asked my uncle to also give me feedback and he did this is what he said:

Dear Shaan,

Very good website but a couple of things to check on”-

1. Photos on Home page not fitting

2. Spelling mistakes on home page

3. On foods page – I do not like first 2 lines – can you think of somethingelse – as you are talking of cusines in these lines – you need to justify the sentences

4. Please look at para 2 on Foods page.  This needs to be worked on as I am not sure if it is correct or you mean to say something else.  Also the list of foods are not regional foods – please research on this point.

5. Festival page is good

6. Why don’t you call interesting sites page as Historical sites of india – think about it as your theme is india and its history and culture

7. Put your pictures in the same order as your write up.

8. Your fun page – change your picture to have something to do with india and call it FACTS PAGE

Today I was supposed to add relevant pictures to all my website pages. I had gathered all my pictures with my information. I had experienced some fluctuation during this part, so I would always lose my work when I have put it on weebly so I just want to say thank you to KPLC. But after a few 2 hours I finally finished putting all my pictures into the website. I had experienced one weakness which was not saving my work after putting the pictures into the website.

Today I was supposed to add all my information that I had

gathered during the first day of the create stage. I had gathered over 700 words of information for all my pages

(Home page, Religion, Food, Festivals, Interesting Sites and the Fun Corner). I had experienced some fluctuation during this part, so I would always lose my work when I have put it on weebly so I just want to say thank you to KPLC. But after a few 4 hours I finally finished putting all my information onto the website. I had experienced one weakness which was not saving my work after putting some information onto the website. I have had this habit for a long time but I am trying to work on it, but it is not working for me. I had one strength which was I was able to paraphrase a whole essay.

According to the plan, today I was supposed to choose the theme of my website and the domains.I had already signed up from before, so that didn't take me long to log in. This tasks were very easy and took a bit more time than the time that was given for this task, as I took long thinking an finding a domain for my website. I already knew which theme I needed, by referring to the chosen design. I did not have any weaknesses during this part of the create stage. My strengths also included making good use of my skills and resources provided for each task. I also made a good use of my designs. I am very happy today as I have finally started making the website to spread awareness about how teenagers need to know about their culture (The Indian Culture) and I am excited to for the rest of the create process, as this is the first time I am making a website. To conclude with, I found this very easy as Weebly is the best and most easiest, free website builder and is very straight forward.
